Three Rooker Bar

Picture a shallow sandbar stretched out just north of Honeymoon Island, with warm water that stays around waist-deep for a long, easy walk. The bottom is soft, sandy, and forgiving under bare feet, so you can wade out, plant a chair in a few inches of Gulf, and let the afternoon slow all the way down. It's the kind of spot families come back for year after year.

The run out is half the fun. Once you point the bow north from our dock, you cruise past Clearwater Harbor and Honeymoon Island with the bimini top keeping everyone shaded and the Bluetooth stereo doing its thing. Wild bottlenose dolphins turn up along this stretch almost every day, so keep a phone handy. Give yourself the whole trip out and back without watching the clock.

Weekends are when Three Rooker really comes alive. Boats ease in and tie up side by side into loose raft-ups, coolers come out, and the sandbar turns into a friendly floating neighborhood for the day. Prefer it mellow? Point the pontoon toward a quieter stretch of sand, drop anchor, and you'll have your own patch of shallows with plenty of elbow room.
